From Walt Disney's '20000 Leagues Under the Sea' directed by Richard Fleischer.
The Nautilus was designed by Harper Goff, and brought to the screen via miniatures photographed by Ralph Hammeras
LIBERATOR
From the 1970s BBC TV Series 'Blake's 7'. The giant alien ship was designed by Roger Murray-Leach and created on screen through visual effects by Mat Irvine and Ian Scoones.

FLYING SUB
From the Irwin Allen TV Series 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'. Designed by William Creber and created on screen by Special Photographic Effects Supervisors L.B. Abbott and Howard & Theodore Lydecker.
USS Enterprise
The beautifully refitted starship as she appeared nin 'Star Trek The Motion Picture'. Designed by Walter 'Matt' Jeffries and Visualised on screen by Special Photographic Effects Director Douglas Trumbull.
FIREFOX
The Mig 31 (codename) Firefox from the 1982 Clint Eastwood thriller. Designed primarily by model specialist Greg Jein, along with William Creber and Grant McCune and visualised on screen by Special Photographic Effects Supervisor John Dykstra.
ATLANTIS
Carl Stromberg's fururistic base from the James Bond adventure 'The Spy Who Loved Me'. Designed by the great Ken Adam, and brought to the screen by Visual Effects Director Derek Meddings.
CAVORSHPERE
From the 1964 film of H.G. Wells' 'The First Men in the Moon'. Terrific turn of the century design. Special Visual Effects by Ray Harrryhausen and Les Bowie.
AT-ST
The All Terrain Scout Transport, or Scout Walker are featured in the dramatic forest battle in 'Return of the Jedi'. Superberb 'Go-Motion' andimation and visual effects by Phill Tippet and Dennis Muren. Terrific sound effects by Ben Burtt.
NAUTILUS I
From the 1969 film 'Captain Nemo and the Underwater City'. An unusual take on the classic submarine, but I adore this ship. I do not know who designed it - please contact me with any info. VFX by George Gibbs, Richard Conway and Jack Mills.
HYPERION
From the 1974 Jules Verne-esque Disney film 'The Island at the Top of the World'. This beautiful airship was designed by Peter Ellenshaw, and brought to life on screen via matte paintings and miniatures supervised by Art Cruikshank.
DALEK FLYING SAUCER
From the 1966 Dr Who Feature Film 'Dalek's Invasion Earth: 2150 AD'. This design differed considerably from what had appeared o TV in the original serial.
ALTARES
Featured in 1970s TV special 'Into Infinity: The Day After Tomorrow'. An educational sci-fi film made by Gerry Anderson in between Seasons 1 and 2 of Space:1999. Visual Effects by Brian Johnson. I believe the ship was designed by Martin Bower.
JUPITER 2
From Irwin Allen's popular 1960s TV series 'Lost In Space'. The ship was designed spaceship by William Creber and was created on screen by visual effects supervisors L.B. Abbott and Howard & Theodore Lydecker.
PALOMINO
From the 1979 sci-fi epic 'The Black Hole' from Walt Disney Productions. Production design by Peter Ellenshaw. Brought to the screen by Ellenshaw and visual effects director Art Cruikshank.
USS CYGNUS
From Walt Disney Productions' 1979 sci-fi epic 'The Black Hole'.
The ship was designed by Peter Ellenshaw and visualised on screen by a finely detailed 11 foot long miniature photographed by Art Cruikshank.
ALBATROSS
From the 1960s film 'Master of the World', the aircraft is the brainchild of Robur and is made out of compressed paper. Not sure who designed this - possibly Wah Chang.
ROCKET SHIP
The iconic spacecraft from the 1930s Flash Gordon serials starring Larry 'Buster' Crabbe. Superb design and with the sputtering exhausts and unique whirring sound effects it all adds up to pure Sci-Fi joy!
FIREFOX - MiG-31
From the 1982 Clint Eastwood thriller. The Mach 6 prototype fighter races over the ocean. Aircraft Design by Greg Jein, with William Creber and Grant McCune. VFX supervised by John Dykstra.
MARTIAN SPACE SHIP
From the thought provoking and very scary Hammer Studios film of Nigel Kneale's TV serial 'Quatermass and the Pit'.
NOSTROMO
The giant towing vehicle NOSTROMO from the hugely influential 1979 sci-fi/horror movie 'ALIEN'.
